Module 8


 From the list of videos I chose "The Measure of All Things: Greek Art and the Human Figure" just because I had watched the first few minutes of it and it interested me. In "More Human Than Human" I learned about animals and how they have attractions to specific things. Also in humans certain parts of the body are emphasized. For example on women the breasts are usually bigger. This could mean that those body parts of the most important ones on the body of a female. Overall, these films were interesting to watch and it was cool to compare them to each other to notices their similarities, and differences

Module 4

My thoughts on creating a Value Scale are that I thought this project was creative, and cool. Before this class if someone were to ask me what a Value Scale was I would not be able to describe what that was. Now that I have created one I am able to explain the purpose of one, and what it can be used for. While creating the Color Wheel I was a bit challenged at first because I wasn't sure if I would make the colors correctly like it was shown in the video. After I had noticed that I did it correct, and it became fun to watch the colors blend together, and produce other colors.  The media that I enjoyed working with the most was the color wheel. This is because it was more hands on involving the paint, and brushes. I like working with paint, and painting things and although we were not instructed to paint a object or create a picture with it, it was still fun to put the colors together, and see what can be created from that.  In my opinion an important discovery that I had not

Another fun Art Gallery visit !

1. What is the title of the exhibit? I went to visit the Burchfield Penney Art center and the exhibit was titled "Jonathan Rogers, The Complexity of life" 2. What is the theme of the exhibition? The theme of the exhibition was complicated "thorny lives"  1. What type of lighting is used? The type of lighting that was used were regular lights, they were not too bright, nor to dark. 2. What colors are used on the walls? The colors used on the walls behind the artwork were a darkish grey. 3. What materials are used in the interior artchitecture of the space? The artchitecture used in the interior of the space are materials to hang the artwork on the wall, display cases in the middle of the room, light fixtures to hold the lights on an angle, a produce the perfect amount of light on a space. 4. How is the movement of the viewer through the gallery space? The movement of the viewer flows perfectly to see the artwork, the space is open and spacious wh
