Another fun Art Gallery visit !

1. What is the title of the exhibit?
I went to visit the Burchfield Penney Art center and the exhibit was titled "Jonathan Rogers, The Complexity of life"
2. What is the theme of the exhibition?
The theme of the exhibition was complicated "thorny lives" 
1. What type of lighting is used?
The type of lighting that was used were regular lights, they were not too bright, nor to dark.
2. What colors are used on the walls?
The colors used on the walls behind the artwork were a darkish grey.
3. What materials are used in the interior artchitecture of the space?
The artchitecture used in the interior of the space are materials to hang the artwork on the wall, display cases in the middle of the room, light fixtures to hold the lights on an angle, a produce the perfect amount of light on a space.
4. How is the movement of the viewer through the gallery space?
The movement of the viewer flows perfectly to see the artwork, the space is open and spacious which allows many people to view the same work of art at once. 
1. How are the artworks organized?
The artwork was randomly organized in no particular order.
2. How are the artrworks similar?
The artworks are similar because they look the same in type of painting that it is, the symbols in the paintings look the same as well, the artist has his own style of creating artwork.
3. How are the artworks different?
The artworks are different because of the messages that they send out to us. They could be interpreted in many different ways.
4. How are the artworks framed?
Some of the artworks are framed, some are not. The ones that are framed have a black thin frame around the artwork.
5. How are the artworks identified and labeled?
The artworks are identified by the name of the artist, the year it was created, and a brief description of the artwork such as what type of materials were used to create it.
6. What is the proximity of the artwork to each other?
The proximity is all different in the artwork, the times the artwork were created were different.

In the prairie school clip, one of the key concepts that I learned was about architecture becoming a style. This was something that became natural to society, and this is what made it a style. In the second video architecture as art it was described that architecture was something that becomes a language that flourishes more and more as time goes on. Fun Art Gallery visit!

I recently visited the Albright-Knox art gallery located in Buffalo, New York. While visiting I saw a lot of very different creative pieces of art. Some that intrigued my to learn more, some that told a story, some that were difficult to understand, but overall it was a great time. There are some amazing artists featured in this gallery, and all of the works of art were beautiful to look at, and try to understand. The first work of art that made an impression on me was Frida Kahlo's self-portrait with monkey (1938).  Frida Kahlo's Self-portrait with monkey (1938) From seeing this portrait I learned a lot about Frida. This specific piece of art impacted me because she had gone through many life threatening accidents, and she resulted to painting to pass the time, and distract her from her boredom.
