  1. I enjoyed your pictures for the project, but I need some information to help me understand your thought process. Without information, I cannot really understand some of your pictures. I do enjoy your picture for movement, with the water moving in the background, and I like the shape picture of the basketball. I do not understand some, like the space picture. I understand that the empty space on the wall in the background is what you maybe intended, but why did you chose that picture? I feel like there could be more information to give us. Some more time spent on the project would have made it much stronger. Good job, though!

  3. Although I enjoyed your theme of the family, nature and love it missed out on the specifics of the assignment which included elements and principles. Keep trying though,I’m not being condescending when I say that your efforts will improve your work. I find myself struggling but this post affirms my own improvement. Good job.

  4. I enjoy your photobook. I think It is a perfect way to demonstrate arts in living. We are surrounded by art and I think it is important to show appreciation to some of those minor details in life that we miss out on. I also liked your photobook because I think it had a very abstract way of representing the elements and principles

Module 4

My thoughts on creating a Value Scale are that I thought this project was creative, and cool. Before this class if someone were to ask me what a Value Scale was I would not be able to describe what that was. Now that I have created one I am able to explain the purpose of one, and what it can be used for. While creating the Color Wheel I was a bit challenged at first because I wasn't sure if I would make the colors correctly like it was shown in the video. After I had noticed that I did it correct, and it became fun to watch the colors blend together, and produce other colors.  The media that I enjoyed working with the most was the color wheel. This is because it was more hands on involving the paint, and brushes. I like working with paint, and painting things and although we were not instructed to paint a object or create a picture with it, it was still fun to put the colors together, and see what can be created from that.  In my opinion an important discovery that I had not

3rd art gallery visit

Al Mitsu 1944 Oil painting Jame Amos Porter 1957 Oil on Canvas Frida Kahlo 1945 These are all of the three of the inspired self-portrait pieces I have decided to include from the art gallery visit. All of these pieces were found virtually from the Google art project website. 1. Why did you select the inspiration pieces? I selected these inspiration pieces because I felt like these are exactly what self-portraits are supposed to look like. It is the person, and they are either doing something or just still. 2. Why did you select the media to create your self-portrait? I selected the media to create my self-portrait because I felt like it would be the best way to create the image of myself that I wanted to. 3. What challenges did you face in creating your self-portrait and how did you overcome them? The challenges that were faced while creating my self-portrait was not being able to create the best image of myself. Since this was my first time creating a self portrait,
